PS cutting machine with driven wire

Cutting machine with a driven wire for PIR blocks and mineral wool up to 200 kg/m³. Vertical or bevel cuts, a stationary indexing unit for the side-guide feed and automatic table feed.

The PS cutting machine in its driven-wire version cuts blocks of PIR foam and mineral wool up to 200 kg/m³. Driving the wire makes it possible to cut materials in which a plain, undriven wire starts to wander off the cutting line.

Vertical and bevel cuts

The head works in two modes: vertically, when a block is divided into boards, and at a set bevel, when a wedge is needed — a roof fall, for example, or an edge for joining boards. Changing the angle requires no tool change.

Indexing unit for the side guide

The side guide is advanced by a stationary indexing unit that steps through successive passes with a repeatable increment. It is what sets the thickness of each board and holds it across the whole run — with no manual measuring and no dimensional drift after a dozen cycles.

Automatic table feed

The table moves the material by itself, at a constant speed. The operator neither presses nor guides the block by hand, which on dense wool translates directly into an even cut surface.

Materials

The machine handles PIR foams as well as stone and glass mineral wool. The 200 kg/m³ ceiling covers hard roofing wool and boards intended to carry load.
