A horizontal automatic contour cutting machine for mineral wool, equipped with CNC control. To make loading easier, a conveyor belt moves the block onto the machine table.
The machine body travels on linear bearings (front–back movement) and on ball screws (up–down movement). The solution is highly durable and virtually maintenance-free.
Precision on thin boards
For more accurate wool cutting the machine is fitted with an automatic material hold-down that keeps the block in place during the cut — which is what makes boards from 5 mm thick possible. The machine has automatic pneumatic wire tensioning that maintains constant tension throughout the cycle.

Software
Drawings are prepared in devFoam 2 — simple shape creation, geometry import and fast changeovers between jobs.
