A horizontal contour cutting machine for mineral wool with CNC control. To make loading easier the machine has two tables: while the first one — outside the danger zone — is being loaded or unloaded, the second table is working inside the machine. The production cycle is never interrupted for handling.
3D cutting
Both tables rotate, which makes 3D cutting possible — shapes developed around the axis of the block. Table rotation is synchronised with the automatic material hold-down that keeps the block steady while cutting.
Construction
The machine body travels on linear bearings (front–back movement) and on ball screws (up–down movement). The solution is highly durable and maintenance-free. The machine has automatic pneumatic wire tensioning, safety guarding with an electric interlock, and automatic table entry and rotation.

Simple, straightforward drawing preparation in devFoam 2.
